Gift Vouchers Global Options
Ideal POS System is able to record the individual sales of Gift Vouchers with the ability to track an individual Gift Voucher and allocate the payments once redeemed.
In previous versions, Gift vouchers were sold using the RA (Received on Account) function and redeemed using an assigned Tender. These functions are still used to sell/redeem gift vouchers; however the balance is recorded and a new set of reports are available.
Global Options
Gift Voucher Global Options are:
1) Print Gift Voucher Message block on the receipt.
2) Expiry Date. Gift Vouchers not redeemed within their validity date with expire and cannot be redeemed.
3) Print Voucher on Receipt Printer
. If this option is set, IPS will print a Gift Voucher on receipt.
4) Automatically create Gift Voucher codes. This option automatically generates a gift voucher number. You would not use this option if entering/scanning a gift voucher number for your own gift voucher cards/books.
5) Gift Vouchers can be redeemed at any Site. If using Multi-Site, you can set Gift Vouchers to be redeemed only at the site the Gift Voucher was issued.
