Liquorfile Price Book Department Links
You can link the Departments in Idealpos to the Departments in the Liquorfile Price Book. When new items are added from the Price Book to POS, these items will be automatically linked to the predetermined Department.
Existing Stock Items in the Idealpos database will not be changed when updating from the Liquorfile Price Book.
How to View/Change linked Departments
1. Go to File > Price Book > Departments.
2. You will see the departments already linked with the same numbers. If you started with a blank Idealpos database, then the descriptions will match. If you had an existing database, then you will need to link them as they will most likely be linked to the wrong departments.
3. Once you have linked the departments, new items added to the Idealpos database will be linked to the correct departments.
