RoomMaster (PMS) Interface - How To Use
This guide will go though how to use the RoomMaster Property Management System Interface with the Ideal POS System 5.5.
The IdealPOS RoomMaster is a oneway interface & is limited to TWO Sales Categories (eg FOOD = 1 & BEVERAGE = 2).
Please Note: To configure Room Master you will need to contact Room Masters helpdesk.
How To Use:
1.Press Room Search Function, Select Customers Room
2.Perform Sale as per normal
3.Press ENTER
4.Tender Sale to ROOM CHARGE
5.Out will come a Receipt for you to get them to sign
6.Everytime you perform a sale it is saved in a RoomMaster.txt file located on the POS terminal you configured to be the Output POS# (eg POS 1) RoomMaster.txt file located c:\Program Files\Ideal POS System 5.5 Folder)
7.RoomMaster is set to poll the RoomMaster.txt
