Ideal WebIT - Schedule Configuration

Windows XP Professional - Scheduler Configuration

1. Go to Control Panel
2. Then Scheduled Tasks
3. Then Add Scheduled Task
4. Click Next
5. Click Browse… to go find Ideal WebIT
    (Default location is C:\Program Files\Ideal WebIT 1.0\IdealWebIT.exe)
6. Enter a Name for the Schedule (eg Ideal WebIT)
7. Tick Daily
8. Then select Next



9. Then select Start Time (eg 9:00am)
10. Set the task to be performed Every Day
11. Set Start Date when required
12. Then select Next



13. Enter the Name & Password of the PC user
14. Then select Next



15. Tick Open advanced properties for this task when I click finish
16. The select Finish



17. In Run section enter “C:\Program Files\Ideal WebIT 1.0\IdealWebIT.exe” /mode=generate
18. Select Apply
19. Start in should display “C:\program Files\Ideal WebIT 1.0”
20. Now go to Schedule TAB



21. Select Advanced
22. Tick Repeat Task
23. Enter details on how often the task repeats (eg 30 Minutes, but can run every 10 minutes)
24. Enter duration of task (eg 23 hours), then select OK



25. Select Settings TAB
26. Change the Stop the task if it runs for setting (eg 1 hr)
27. Select Apply, then OK





Windows Vista - Scheduler Configuration 

1. Go to Control Panel
2. Then Administrative Tools
3. Then Task Scheduler
4. Select Create Task
5. On General TAB, Enter a Name (eg WebIT)
6. Then enter a Description (eg Ideal WebIT Upload)
7. Now select Triggers TAB



8. Select NEW to create a trigger
9. In the begin the task dialog select On a Schedule
10. Select setting =  Daily
11. Recur every = 1 Days
12. Tick Repeat Task Every (Recommended is 30 Minutes, but can run every 10 minutes)
13. Tick Enabled, then click OK



14.    Now select Actions TAB
15.    Select NEW to create a action
16.    Action = Start A Program
17.    In Settings > Program/Script enter "C:\Program Files\Ideal WebIT\IdealWebIT.exe" (As displayed below) or browse for exact path to IdealWebIT.exe.
18.    In Settings > Add Arguments enter /mode=generate (As displayed below), Then click OK



19.    Now Select Settings TAB
20.    Change the Stop the task if it runs longer than setting to 1 hour, then click OK



21.    Now EXIT Task Scheduler. The schedule should now run at the configured times.
