Stock Item Alert levels
This feature allows you to visually alert the operator on the POS Screen when stock is getting low.
Go to File > Sales > Stock Item Alert levels
There is two different types of Alert Levels
1. Using the systems Stock Levels (eg Bottles of Beer)
2. Using a manually entered stock level (eg Fish of the Day Portions)
Option 1 - Setup To Use System Stock Levels
1. Select Stock Item
2. Tick Use Stock Level
3. Enter a Alert Level, when the stock level reaches this level it will prompt the operator
4. Once the alert level is reached the POS Screen will prompt the operator
Option 2 - Setup To Use Remaining Stock Levels
1. Select Stock Item
2. Enter Remaining Stock
3. Enter a Alert Level, when the stock level reaches this level it will prompt the operator
4. Once the alert level is reached the POS Screen will prompt the operator
Show Alert Levels On Touchscreen Buttons
This options will display the stock level on the POS Screen Button
Go to Setup > YES/NO Options > POS Screen & tick Show Alert Levels On Touchscreen Buttons. Now restart the Ideal POS System software.
