Eftpos Cashout (Macro)


Version 5.5 Straight Eftpos Cashout was configured via the following method.

Yes/No Options

1. Go to Setup > Yes/No Options
2. Ensure Disable Cashout Question is not ticked


Keyboard Functions

Create two keyboard functions

1.    Text Entry Hash – With Automatic Text of CASHOUT
2.    Tender – Tender Function needs to be set to a EFTPOS Tender

Text Entry Hash Setup - Example

1.    Press F2 (For advanced users you can use a different key)
2.    Select Text Entry (Hash) as the function
3.    Enter CASHOUT~ in the Automatic Text
 
Eftpos Tender - Example
1.    Press F3 (For advanced users you can use a different key)
2.    Select Tender
3.    Select EFTPOS as the Tender Function from the drop down list
 

POS Screen

Create a Macro Button on the POS Screen. A Macro button is designed to perform multiple steps at the press of the button.

Go to Setup > POS Screen > POS Screen Layout


1.    Click on a Blank Button on your POS Screen
2.    Select Macro as the function
3.    In the Automatic Text enter {F2}{F3}~
                           {F2} = Text Entry (Hash)
                           {F3} = Eftpos Tender
                               ~   = Enter
4.    Click Save & Exit

When using the "Allow Multiple EFTPOS Tendering" Option the Macro button needs to be configured slightly different



1.    Click on a Blank Button on your POS Screen
2.    Select Macro as the function
3.    In the Automatic Text enter {F2}{F3}
                           {F2} = Text Entry (Hash)
                           {F3} = Eftpos Tender        
4.    Click Save & Exit



Notes: This Cashout Macro has been tested to work in Australia & New Zealand regions.
