Setup for Credit Notes


Step 1 - Received Account (RA) Function Setup:


1. Go to Setup
2. Functions
3. Select one of the Four Received Account Functions
4. Press Modify
5. Enter a Description (eg CREDIT NOTE)
6. Tick Credit Note
7. Save & Exit




Step 2 - Tender Setup for Credit Note Redemption:

1. Go to Setup > Functions
2. Select one of the TENDER Functions that is not in use
3. Press Modify
4. Enter a Description (eg CREDIT NOTE)
5. Tick Credit Function & Credit Note Tender
6. Save & Exit



7. Go to Setup > YES/NO Options > Tenders
8. Ensure your Credit Note Tender is Unticked on ALL (or the required terminals)


Step 3 - Global Options

1. Go to Setup > Global Options
2. Select the Credit Notes/Gift Vouchers Tab
3. Enter a Receipt Message - Details to be printed on Credit Note Receipt
4. Enter Expiry after X amount of days
5. Tick the following records
       - Print Credit notes on Receipt Printer
       - Automatically create Credit note codes
       - Credit Notes can be redeemed at any Site
6. Select Customer Type for the customer to be added into POS under
7. Enter Reasons for the Credit Notes being Issued (eg Item Returned, Item Damaged etc)
8. Exit & Save




Step 4 - Credit Note Enquiry Button

1. Go to Setup > POS Screen > POS Screen Layouts
2. Select current layout
3. Press Buttons
4. Select the tab where you want to create the Credit Note Enquiry Button (eg ADMIN)
5. Select Credit Note Enquiry from the list of buttons
6. Save & Close
