Scrollbar Size - How is this changed?
When using Idealpos on a Touchscreen often the default scrollbar size can be a little hard to manage. The size of the Scrollbar is controlled by Windows & can be increased, but be aware it will affect all scroll bars in Windows on the computer.
How to change on Windows XP (& WePOS/POS Ready):
1. Go to Start > Control Panel
2. Click on the option called Display
3. Select the Appearance TAB
4. Click the Advanced button
5. In the Item option select Scrollbar from the list of options
6. Enter Size (Recommended is 25, but you can change to suit) & Click Apply
How to change on Windows 7 (& Vista):
1. Go to Start > Control Panel
2. Change the View By option (Located in top right) to Small Icons.
3. Click on the option called Personalization
4. Click on the option down the bottom of the personalization window called Window Color
5. Click on the option called Advanced appearance settings…
6. In the Item option select Scrollbar from the list of options
7. Enter Size (Recommended is 25, but you can change to suit) & Click Apply
