Button Lag in my POS Screen Setup on Windows 7
If your computers operating system is Windows 7 (or Vista) you may experience what can be best described as a lag when moving buttons around on your POS Screen Layout.We have found this lag can be eliminated by turning off a Visual Affect option called Enable desktop composition.
How to disable the Enable Desktop Composition option:
1. Go to Start > Control Panel
2. Change the View By Option (Located in top right) to Small Icons
3. Click on the option called System
4. On the right hand side locate Advanced system options
5. Select the Advanced Tab
6. Select Settings on the Performance properties
7. Untick the option called Enable desktop composition
8. Click Apply & Exit
