Negative Departments
Release Idealpos 6.0 Build 1
Functionality is available in Idealpos so direct Department sales can be processed as a negative $ amount which is used by News Agents, Lottery Stores etc. This will be done through entering a -$ in the Automatic Text of the button.
How to setup:
1. Create Departments for your PAIDOUTS
2. Tick Non-Turnover if you do not want them to affect you Sales Figures
3. In the Automatic Text enter -$
4. In POS when entering a PAIDOUT value this will display the AMOUNT as a negative $ Amount.
How to use it:
1. In POS when entering a PAIDOUT enter the AMOUNT (eg 20)
2. The press the PAIDOUT DPT key
3. This will display the AMOUNT as a negative
4. Direct Department Sales of Non-Turnover Departments will result in the Financial Report being displayed like below
