Based On Stock Item Purchased
This promotion is designed to encourage the customer to purchase a specific product or product range. Every item that is enabled a customer purchase will get ONE promotional ticket, so if they purchase 3 products that are enabled they will get 3 promotional tickets.
Step 1 - Setup A Printer
Note: This Step is only if you are using an dedicated printer for you promotional tickets.
Go to Setup, then Network Printers (Refer to Network Printer Setup) & Create a NEW printer (eg PROMO PRINTER).
Drag the printer into KP Printer 6.
Once finished select X in top right corner of screen & save changes.
To print text on the tickets go to Setup, then POS Terminals. Select Printer to print the promotional tickets from (eg KP 6).
The Promotional Tickets print the Header Line & Footer Line (Below is an example of a Cash Customer Ticket)
Once finished select X in top right corner of screen & save changes.
Step 2 - Enabling Promotional Ticket Type
Go to Setup, then Global Options & then Miscellaneous
Click on arrow next to Ticket Printer & select Printer you require from drop down list to print the ticket. Also select None.
Tick Print for Cash Sales if you would like this promotion to apply to all customers.
Once finished select X in top right corner of screen & save changes.
Step 3 - Stock Item Setup
Go to Stock Items & modify Stock Items that you would like to enable for promotional tickets.
On the Advanced TAB you need to tick Print Promotional Tickets on the Stock Items you would like to print tickets.
Once finished select X in top right corner of screen & save changes.
