I have Idealpos installed at both my current restaurants (Bar Alto and Ortiga) and had also used it previously at my other Restaurant ISIS which has now been closed and re-opened as Ortiga. I have found the Idealpos Point of Sale System to be an excellent product to manage my restaurants. At Bar Alto, we have 8 point of sale terminals located in both the bar and restaurant areas. I am able to effectively manage my stock and report on my daily financial activities easily and quickly. The Idealpos software is easy to make menu changes and can be customised to suit my requirements. At Ortiga, I am using the stainless steel POS terminals which look great and suit the décor of my restaurant. Both sites have integrated EFTPOS which use an internet connection for fast and reliable connection to the bank. Idealpos Solutions are professional and know what they’re doing, and I take comfort in knowing the software is developed locally and supported by professional and trained staff.

We installed an Idealpos POS System into our first café over two years ago and now have it in 6 cafes with 2 more coming on line in the next few weeks. Overall, we have found the system very easy for our staff to learn and use, allowing them to serve customers efficiently from Day 1. We have been using Idealpos for the last four years. We chose Idealpos after looking around at other POS software because of its ease of use and its local support. At West Coast Gardens we thoroughly enjoy our Idealpos system. Not only does it help us be extremely accurate with each sale, it helps with getting our customers through the cue’s faster. Our seasonal employees are able to learn the system quickly and confidently. We are running four terminals with touch screens along with a back office computer. The software is easy to learn and produces instant information when you need it. Since I started using the Idealpos system, we have found the system fast and easy to use. I can produce financial reports for any period to show a breakdown of sales, method of payments, pos transaction types and this assists me to streamline my business. The table map system is straightforward , and allows easy tracking of the customer orders and current service status. The Idealpos software gives me the ability to program lots of menu options which reduces errors in order taking and allows the kitchen to deliver the product the customer wants, improving efficiency. I have also connected my restaurant over a VPN internet connection to the office at my home, so I can monitor the restaurant when I’m not there. Hats off to the guys at Idealpos!

Reef Magic Cruises is a 100% locally owned and operated tourism venture that takes passengers daily to the outer Barrier Reef where they enjoy a full day of marine activities including snorkelling, diving, glass bottom boats and scenic helicopter rides.
Carrying up to 200 passengers a day, the control of on board sales of food, drink, souvenirs and activities was quite an onerous task using manual systems.... especially when you’re 60 miles from shore with limited methods of communication. We investigated and researched the products and services available, both locally and nationally, and found a local supplier of idealpos, Cairns Copy, to offer the best product and service in all areas of our requirements. Good quality service with their in-house consultant, Ben Southwood, available to us for installation, training and on-going support.
idealpos has been up and running for approx 2 months now and we find daily sales and stock control a breeze compared to the “olden” days. The system communicates via 3G broadband between the two boats, the Terminal and Head Office. Should the tour boats exceed 3G range, idealpos continues operating flawlessly and when a data connection is established, automatically and seamlessly updates sales and stock data. The ability to message between terminals has also been an unexpected bonus
